Frequently Asked Questions

How should I provide artwork for my project?
Please see our Artwork Guidelines for information on how to produce your artwork. Your artwork can be emailed if it is about 3GB or less in size. If larger, please contact us for uploading instructions. If you do not have the software, staff, or the time to create the artwork yourself, just let us know what you are trying to accomplish and we will be happy to provide a quote to create it for you.
 
What added product costs might be involved in my order?
Before proceeding with your project, we will review your artwork and advise you of any adjustments that should be made to your order.
  • Many processes involve set-up costs. Although we advise you of these costs in the product information, they are not generally shown in your shopping cart.  Some set-up charges, such as digitizing for embroidery can only be estimated by reviewing the artwork.
  • Many manufacturers have a selection of “standard” imprint colors that are included in the price, but charge for a PMS match that requires them to custom mix colors.  Each manufacturer has different standard colors and different policies, so we will review your requirements and let you know if a charge will apply, or what change you might make to avoid the charge.
What are “overs"?
Many custom imprinted products are subject to a over/under policy (generally +5%). To insure you receive as many as ordered, items may be over-produced. If spoilage is minimal, you are delivered "overs"; if spoilage is higher than anticipated, you are delivered "under" . Either way you are invoiced for the quantity delivered. Please let us know if you need to receive an exact quantity (there may be an added charge for this).
 
Why is freight not included in my shopping cart?
There are many variables involved in an order that can affect the shipping cost. For example, your particular order may require a pre-production proof that will incur additional freight costs. Or you may select product from 2 different manufacturers located in different parts of the country.  These orders will ship separately and not be combined for freight charges. We will ship your product in the most economical way to meet your deadline. Upon request we will provide you with a shipping estimate. However, it will be an estimate based upon the best information we have available. You will be invoiced based upon actual cost. If you have access to volume freight discounts, we can generally use your shipping account so you can take advantage of your rate.
